William began his recruiting career in 1994 while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later joined J. Patrick & Associates in New York as a Managing Partner. For over a decade, he led J. Patrick & Associates’ domestic and international business within the information security and wireless business units through business development, account management, and executive recruitment.
William founded EnergeiaWorks in 2010 to meet the growing demand for highly-specialized experts in the fast growing clean tech and renewable energy markets. William built EnergeiaWorks from its conception into a profitable, brand-recognized company with multiple triple-digit growth years and over 100 industry-leading customers. As CEO, William is responsible for global business development, account management, and marketing for EnergeiaWorks. He manages and mentors a team of researchers and recruiters focused on job placement in clean technology. He is recognized as an industry expert on hiring trends within clean energy and an accomplished author and public speaker on the topic.
Through EnergeiaWorks, William also manages "Renewables UnWind" - a North American networking association for the renewable energy industry. These monthly events have hosted thousands of professionals in New York City; and throughout the US and Canada. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in forensic psychology from John Jay College, City University of New York.
Jamie Paquette is extremely passionate about renewable energy. Having previously amassed over 10 years working in solar education and advocacy, Jamie has spent the last 5 years applying his solar knowledge to recruiting for EnergeiaWorks. Jamie studied geography at James Madison University and currently resides with his wife and 2 rambunctious boys in Easthampton, Massachusetts, home of the best tasting water in the U.S. and (not coincidentally) several great breweries.
Danny Cueto has over 15 years of technical, analytical, and sales positions, but finally found his "home" in recruiting when he joined EnergeiaWorks in 2013, as client satisfaction is very important to him. His inclination towards energy efficiency and energy storage will keep him making changes in the industry for years to come. Danny studied Computer Science at Chubb Institute and resides in Bayonne, New Jersey.
Michael comes to EnergeiaWorks with over 10 years of business development, account management, and recruiting experience. He has an exceptional track record of helping start-ups hire the best talent in a limited amount of time. Michael's background in start-up environments will lend itself well to handling the fast-paced demands to build the workforce within renewable energy. Michael is a communications graduate of Rutgers University, a cigar aficionado, and scotch lover. He resides in Jersey City, New Jersey with his wife and son.
Monica Scantlen has over 15 years of recruiting and human resources experience in both corporate Fortune 500 and search firm environments. She's led interviewing and hiring workshops and training sessions for hiring managers, candidates, and universities. Monica is also an active advisory board member of a women's leadership non-profit. She joined EnergeiaWorks in 2012 and enjoys helping clients find the best employees to contribute to the growth of their organization! Monica has BA Degree from Southwestern University and resides in Austin, Texas.
Eliana Vargas has 5 years of global human resources and recruiting experience working in Colombia, China, and the United States. While working for ENF in Wuhu, China, she got her first experience in renewable energy and developed an interest for the new technologies that make the world a greener place. Eliana joined EnergeiaWorks as a Recruiting Coordinator and was later promoted to Recruiter and Business Development Manager for the Latin America region. She earned a BS degree in business from the Externado University. Eli speaks fluent English and Spanish, and is conversational in Portuguese. She currently resides in Bogotá, Colombia.
Ace brings 7 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry to EnergeiaWorks. He has placed IT professionals at all levels for government agencies and large, national clients in a variety of industries. Ace now looks to bring his passion for driving process and contributing to the delivery of the right match for the candidates he represents and the clients he serves. Ace is a business graduate of New Jersey City University, enjoys working out, and resides in Jersey City, New Jersey with his wife and two children, a girl and a boy.
Victoria Waye is a seasoned sales professional with over 10 years’ experience in business development. She has worked in Canada and Australia as a renewable Energy Recruiter and has a passion for the industry. She enjoys helping candidates and clients make long term lasting employment connections. Victoria also enjoys volunteering with industry committees and sat on the Australian Solar Council to help educate consumers and solar professionals alike. She is currently a chapter lead for Iron and Earth and Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE). Victoria graduated from Vancouver Island University with a degree in Sociology. In her spare time, Victoria likes to hike and run marathons. She currently resides in Calgary, Alberta.
