Our exclusive focus on clean energy markets gives us an unparalleled advantage in locating the most highly specialized talent in any sector, including:
Solar
As the market for solar power matures, there has been a marked increase in demand at all levels, from residential rooftop installations to utility-scale arrays. Falling prices and strong incentives create immense opportunities - as well as challenges - for the solar industry. Understanding the shifting market and advancing technologies is key to placing the right people with the right companies.
Cumulative solar capacity in the United States now exceeds 280 GWac, and in 2025 solar was the dominant source of new capacity added to the grid for the fifth consecutive year.
Commercial and community solar continue to grow steadily as more states look to build out their solar capacity and look to electrification as the best pathway towards reducing carbon emissions.
The Inflation Reduction Act signed in 2022 became the single largest investment in climate and energy in American history and despite recent rollbacks of some of its provisions, its overall effects are still having a positive impact on the industry.
Energy Storage
Energy storage installations were 41% higher than 2024 in the US with record-breaking installations of 5.3 GW in the 3rd quarter of 2025 alone. According to ACP: “Despite challenges from federal tariffs, new ITC sourcing rules, and the impending loss of the Section 25D credit, overall installations rose 31% year-over-year.” Current projections foresee nearly 93 GW of new storage through 2029 as energy storage continues to emerge as the backbone of the modern electrical grid, improving reliability and reducing costs.
Wind
Wind power has long had a strong foothold in many parts of the country. According to American Clean Power: “Wind power capacity totals over 161 GW, making it the fourth-largest source of electricity generation capacity in the country. This is enough wind power to serve the equivalent of more than 46 million American homes.
Meanwhile, offshore wind continues to make strides despite resistance from the federal government. New projects are being completed and coming online in 2026 in Massachusetts, New York and elsewhere on the East Coast.
Electric Vehicle
With two federal tax credits set to expire at the end of September 2025, battery electric vehicles surged to 12% of light-duty vehicles sold, according to the Energy Information Administration. Though those numbers decreased following the credits' expiration, the recent surge in oil (and thus, gas) prices will likely drive another increase in EV interest and sales. And when coupled with more model offerings, lower prices, many state rebates still available, and ever-expanding charging infrastructure, EVs and plug-in hybrids should continue to eat into the market still dominated by combustion engines.
Emerging Technologies
The clean energy transition will go beyond electricity generation and storage. It will require new materials, technologies and processes to be successful. As fossil fuel volatility increases and new challenges like data centers emerge, new solutions will come to the forefront. Microgrids and virtual power plants will become more common; biofuels and hydrogen could displace oil and gas in some sectors; carbon capture and storage will present new opportunities. Construction, transportation and other infrastructure industries will continue to find new efficiencies and innovations, plus ways to reduce waste.
Whatever industries and technologies arise, EnergeiaWorks will strive to remain at the forefront, educating and immersing ourselves in the fields.
