Industry Perspective: 2024 Solar Jobs Census

On November 20, 2025, the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) published the 15th annual National Solar Jobs Census. Accepting an invitation from the IREC, I had the opportunity to preview the new data on jobs from the past year, and write the foreword to provide my perspective on the state of the energy storage and solar workforce. I wholeheartedly support the work IREC does for our industry. Thanks for taking a moment to read my thoughts and review the energy storage and solar jobs data here. I welcome your feedback!
