Asset Management Attorney

As the operational project/asset management attorney, you will provide legal support to the asset management team, which is responsible for energy and revenue generation. You will work with asset managers to respond to ongoing matters related to the project portfolio, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating service contracts, amendments and consents under financing arrangements (including debt, tax equity or equity investors), and other types of agreements to support operations of company projects.

You will also assist with contractual compliance across the operational portfolio. Additionally you will provide guidance on resolving disputes during commercial operations, pursuing contractual remedies including enforcement of collateral rights and warranty claims, and providing strategic pre-litigation guidance. You will also provide education and training on various topics, including the company's legal policies and procedures as well as assisting in the training and development of the asset management team by increasing understanding of legal and operational frameworks, trade-offs and associated documentation.

  • Candidates should have a J.D., a record of academic achievement
  • 3-5 years relevant renewable energy project experience.
  • Well-developed analytical, communication, organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Sound judgement and the demonstrated ability to work both independently and cohesively as a team in a highly complex and dynamic environment.
