We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, results oriented professional to be a part of an entrepreneurial team in our ambitious, rapidly growing solar-renewable energy organization. You will possess comprehensive, senior level business developmental knowledge in renewable energy, be a specialist in the solar BESS industry, and activation expertise, virtual and live events, sponsorship communication & engagement, collateral support, and creative content - all designed to deliver a “best in class" client/relationship building experience. The right candidate for this role is a senior leader who is adept at cross-functionally leveraging resources within an agile, collaborative environment.


  • You will work with senior management to identify and prioritize strategic sales channel for renewable energy opportunities by leading customer-focused, data-driven, multi-dimensional analysis incorporating input from cross-functional team members.
  • Serve as the key contact with counterparties and customers, and work to grow long-term relationships to secure additional business opportunities beyond initial projects
  • Identify and evaluate strategic project, portfolio, and platform acquisitions to provide promising, coordinated, and practical sales development plan strategies to senior management.
  • Maintain industry relationships, identify market trends, track policy developments, evaluate business strategies, and screen multiple competitor offerings to create/secure profitable business opportunities with tangible competitive advantageous constructed approaches for revitalizing the ROI ratios including but not limited to the sales operational related objects in both the current and future quarters of the current fiscal year of the company
  • Coordinate and guide, and support architecting the fundamental pillars of the broader development team to achieve the assigned goals from the visions of senior management.
  • Take the initiative to track and discover potential risks throughout the sales development cycle for solving any unexpected, encountered business obstacles with the weekly reports of professional assessments and mitigations to senior management.
  • Strategically collect, research, and gather the required marketing intelligence material to draft, edit, and to construct the professional corporal level of the official presentations to the stakeholders including, but not limit to senior management.
  • Participate aggressively in the developmental aspects of key accounts and utility relationships, while contributing the best efforts to support origination of contracts with such key accounts without violating any legal standards and regulated compliances.
  • Frequently and actively reporting the newly developed proposal strategies, RFP processes or similar, and negotiate terms for all the parties, to senior management.
  • Develop/maintain business relationships with key consultants and vendors.
  • Maintain and provide suggestions for project development tracking and reporting.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and network to enhance relationships with counterparties, customers, and other stakeholders in the industry, and systematically and routinely update the progress reports, from the managerial aspects, of developing the relationship-building process to senior management with clear objectives and goals.
  • All other sales operational related duties, assigned by the executive Level.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree or higher in business, sales & marketing, engineering, or finance related fields
  • 5-7 years of solar, BESS, and business development experience
  • Deep understanding of renewable energy markets, project lifecycle, financial models, and industry value chains
  • Strong project management skills including creating and managing project budgets and schedules
  • Ability to work effectively with, and manage, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies presented day to day
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively work remotely with minimal supervision
  • Excellent people, entrepreneurial, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Effective computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willing to travel at least 30% of the time
  • A valid Driver License and passport
