Controller Engineer
Charlotte, NCAs the Controller Engineer you will be responsible for development of the companies microgrid software solutions and collaborating to implement these into new and current projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate the company's software applications for controlling renewable energy systems.
- Solve complex customer issues independently and be a go-to resource for other team members.
- Work with remote systems to troubleshoot and integrate the company's developed tools.
- Analyze field issues to provide insights on product quality and process improvement.
- Work with firmware/software, hardware, and product teams to define new features and develop the controls strategy and algorithms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent in experience.
- 3+ Years working on controls systems or related experience.
- Hands on experience developing control systems for ES, Solar or Microgrids preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based server architecture.
- Experience with CAN and Modbus TCP/IP
- Experience with C# and Python.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
