Controller Engineering Manager
Charlotte, NCAs the Controller Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers to improve and continue development of the company's microgrid software solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Determine strategic hires in the correct order to provide maximum efficiency to the team.
- Run and grow a controller development team.
- Commercialize the companies controller software through various tests developed internally.
- Manage and keep projects in line with open source and OCDA standards, pairing with IEEE microgrid standard process and drive this process.
- Create open standard that can plug and play with other energy management systems.
Requirements:
- B.Eng in software or related engineering.
- 5-7+ years in software development of controllers, microgrid or related solutions.
- Hands on experience with microgrid projects and controller development previously to becoming a manager is an asset.
- Familiar with Python, C#/C++, Java and Linux.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of engineers to success.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at one time.
