In this role, you will work with operations, engineering, development, legal, and finance on behalf of the asset management team. The Solar Asset Manager role is critical to organizational success and continued growth of the asset portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Project tracking from construction to commissioning to asset management
- Collecting of project data and documentation (construction, engineering, development sales)
- Coordinate info exchange from EPC contractors
- Maintain and grow good relationships with all contract parties
- Identifying project requirements from contracts
- Monitor compliance in all contracts and activities
- O&M management, purchasing, parts planning, inventory tracking, inventory management, project file management, maintenance reporting
- Procurement of insurance policies, managing insurance claims, project documentation, permits and licensing
- Invoicing customers accurately and on time
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with strong academic records
- Experience with solar contracts (PPA) and interpreting key terms and data
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional experience in solar admin role or related fields
- Ability to help with better process management, creating initiatives to increase efficiency of transactional items and tracking methods
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and short turnarounds while paying close attention to detail
- Self-motivated, fast learner, and excited to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills with internal team members
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software platforms
- 2 years or more work experience in renewable energy, real estate, or other asset management
